Neil Is On The Road!

Published on Thursday 13th May, 2010 by Celtic Trust

Some of you may have seen a suggestion from the Trust recently (6th May) that one way to stave off the expected decline in season ticket sales would be for Neil Lennon to go out and spell out his vision to the support and ask for their backing for next season. We are delighted to announce that this idea has been taken up by Celtic. Celtic has decided that the Chief Executive, Peter Lawwell and the current Manager, Neil Lennon will embark on a series of meetings with the supporters across Scotland, Ireland and England. The Celtic Trust has been asked to host the first of these meetings and this will take place in St Michael’s Chapel Hall, 1350 Gallowgate, Glasgow G31 4DJ on Friday 28th May 2010 from 7pm till 8.30. The format of the meeting will be a presentation by Peter Lawwell and Neil Lennon followed by some questions from the Trust and thereafter the meeting will be thrown open to questions from the floor. This is an excellent initiative and the Trust is very happy to support it. This is an opportunity for supporters to get behind the club and to be part of the process of rebuilding the club and the team to the point where Celtic Park becomes a place to be feared for our opponents and a place for us to have a right good time! However, our support is not to be taken for granted. The club must recognise that we have more to contribute than just our cash. We have ideas, we have imagination and we have total commitment. We hope to see as many of you as possible a week on Friday. Mon the Hoops!
